4/5 Sluice gates to be constructed at Purba Mathurapur near BSF Camp. 4 hume pipe gates have already been constructed at the breach points at Sreerampur.

Effectiveness of above measures

A qualitative perception with regard to effectiveness of existing remedial measures may be given in brief.

Ther was no flood after 1995. Re-excavation of beels and Sreeriver/Ghola Khari, construction of Small check bundh and construction of 4/5 hume pipe culverts as suggested will minimise the impact of flood.
